Installing this software is accepting these terms. Additional license terms are presented during the installation process. ************************************************** 2 System Requirements ************************************************** Make sure your PC meets the following minimum system requirements: -Windows NT, 2000 or XP -500 Mhz CPU -256 MB ram -60 Mb of free disk space To use i-Know Moulding in it’s full potential it is recommended to install the software on a system that meets the following requirements: -Windows 2000 or XP with the latest service packs installed -2 Ghz CPU or faster -512 MB ram or more -200 MB of free disk space -Internet connection -Microsoft Outlook installed as default mail client ************************************************** 3 Installing the software ************************************************** Installation from the i-Know Moulding CD: -Insert the CD -Use the Windows Explorer to browse to the CD station -Start “Setup.exe” -Follow the instructions in the installation wizard Installation from a downloaded setup package: -Click the link on the webpage that provides the download. -Choose “Save As” and save the installation package on a temporary location -Use the Windows Explorer to browse to this temporary location -Unpack the zip file to a temporary directory -Use the Windows Explorer to browse to this temporary directory -Start “Setup.exe” -Follow the instructions in the installation wizard Note on Windows(tm) ME/98/95: -Run "Dcom95.exe" (for Win 95 only) before starting the installation. -Run "Dcom98.exe" (for Win 98 and ME only) before starting the installation. Installation from third party software packages: If the software is automatically installed by the third party installation, no additional action is required. If the software is not automatically installed, locate the installation package in the installation CD and follow the instructions above. ************************************************** 4 Activating the software for evaluation ************************************************** If you obtained an evaluation version of i-Know Moulding some features will be disabled and the software will cease to start up after expiration of the evaluation period. On first use, a registration dialog will pop-up asking for an activation key. To use the software, this activation key is required. The registration dialog will also show a system identification code (system ID), which is a unique code of your workstation. This code should be used to obtain an activation key. If you can access internet from your PC, use “Get a Key” to get a key online. If you follow the online instruction you will receive your key by email within several minutes. If you do not have an internet connection or the connection fails, request an activation key by emailing to sales@ccim.nl with your system ID included in the message. i-Know Moulding offers optional IGES import and STL repair functionality modules. These modules have been developed by DeskArtes (www.Deskartes.com). Use of these modules will require an additional evaluation key. If you have not received the key directly with the i-Know Moulding activation key, just try importing an IGES file in i-Know Moulding and follow the instructions. ************************************************** 5 Activating the software for registered use ************************************************** To register your version of i-Know Moulding you need to buy a Basic, Plus, Extra or Plus license. After payment to CCIM is received, you will receive a new activation key by email, which will unlock the features that come with the version you ordered.
